Mayno Sutherland Collection
Maynor "Mayno" Sutherland was a politician, writer, humorist, journalist, among many other things during his lifetime. In Summer 2018, his neice and nephews contacted the Center for Appalachian Studies about the possibility of UVa-Wise becoming the home to their Uncle Mayno's papers. The CAS gladly agreed and we are currently at work to catalog, scan, and make Mayno's works available electronically.
